Child Safety Standards
UQonnect is committed to protecting children from sexual abuse, exploitation, and other forms of harm.

18+ platform
UQonnect is designed for adults age 18 and older. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to create or maintain a UQonnect account. Regardless of this age restriction, UQonnect maintains and enforces standards intended to prevent the exploitation, abuse, or endangerment of children.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
UQonnect strictly prohibits content, activity, communication, or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Sexualization or sexual exploitation of minors.
- Grooming or attempting to establish a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes.
- Soliciting, requesting, offering, distributing, or exchanging sexual images or content involving minors.
- Sextortion involving a minor.
- Sexual trafficking or attempted trafficking of a minor.
- Content that promotes, facilitates, normalizes, or encourages child sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Attempts to use UQonnect to arrange or facilitate sexual contact with a minor.
- Other conduct that exploits, abuses, or endangers children.
These standards apply throughout UQonnect, including profiles, posts, comments, Stories, photos, messages, professional profiles, events, and other user-generated content or communications.
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
CSAM is strictly prohibited on UQonnect. Users must never upload, share, request, distribute, or attempt to obtain CSAM through the UQonnect platform.
When UQonnect becomes aware of suspected or confirmed CSAM, we may immediately remove or restrict access to the material, suspend or permanently terminate associated accounts, preserve relevant information when appropriate or legally required, and report suspected child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), law enforcement, or other appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.
Reporting child safety concerns
UQonnect provides in-app reporting tools that allow users to report profiles, content, or behavior that may violate our safety standards. Reports involving suspected child exploitation, CSAM, grooming, trafficking, or other conduct that may endanger a child should be submitted as soon as possible.
UQonnect may take action in response to a report, including removing content, restricting features, suspending or terminating accounts, preserving relevant records, and reporting matters to appropriate authorities when required.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement immediately.
Age requirements
Users must be at least 18 years old to use UQonnect. Accounts that UQonnect determines belong to individuals under the age of 18 may be restricted or terminated. Misrepresenting age to gain access to UQonnect is prohibited.
Moderation and enforcement
UQonnect may review reported content and accounts for violations of these standards and other UQonnect policies. Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, enforcement may include content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, permanent account termination, preservation of relevant records, and notification of appropriate authorities.
Violations involving child sexual abuse or exploitation may result in immediate permanent account termination.
Cooperation with authorities
UQonnect will comply with applicable child-safety laws and valid legal requests from law-enforcement agencies. Where required by law, reportable child exploitation or CSAM may be reported to NCMEC or another appropriate governmental or child-protection authority.
